History, traditions, wide biodiversity, dozens of archaeological sites and the largest cave system in Cuba converge in the Viñales Valley. All this in addition to its amazing geological formations, which the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca once compared to a herd of sleeping elephants. With the slogan “Four sites, four extremes of Viñales: places you will remember a lifetime” this excursion proposes adventure for all tastes. From the boat ride through the impressive submerged caves of la Cueva del Indio, the cultural shock of el Palenque de los Cimarrones and the impressive presence of el Mural de la Prehistoria, to the hypnotic beauty of el Mirador de los Jazmines, make Viñales a place that leaves few people indifferent. In 2016, the New York Times presented Viñales in the tenth position in a list of 52 travel destinations with a headline that said: “It’s a big world out there, so we’ve narrowed it down for you. From ancient temples to crystalline waters, here are our top destinations to visit this year”.
